Birdcage Veil Workshop

In this one-day workshop, students will learn to create a classic birdcage veil using millinery veiling, a beautiful open-weave netting ideal for vintage-inspired or modern headpieces.

Throughout the day, students will be guided through the process of measuring their head for a proper fit, hand sewing the veiling to a headband, and shaping the veil for a flattering look. We'll finish by adding decorative trim, allowing each participant to personalize their design.

This is a hands-on, small group class—perfect for those interested in millinery, costume design, or simply exploring a new creative skill.

Class will meet Thursday, July 17th from 10:00-4:00. One hour lunch break each day. Hand sewing skills recommended but not required. All materials provided. Feel free to bring your own embellishments.
