Saucer Fascinator

Join us for a creative one-day workshop where you’ll design and construct a stylish straw fascinator using a pre-made sinamay hat base. These bases are available in a variety of saucer shapes, making them perfect for a Kentucky Derby hat or another special occasion.

Students will learn how to cover a metal headband to properly attach the fascinator. After securing the hat to the band, you’ll complete your piece by trimming it out. A selection of trims will be provided for you to choose from.

Hand sewing experience is helpful but not required. All skill levels are welcome.
