Fur Felt Hat Workshop

In this two-day class, students will learn to make a classic fedora with a flat brim. We will be working with western weight fur felt and using classic millinery techniques to create our hats.

Students will learn to block a fur felt hat body over one of our vintage wood crowns then press the brim flat. Students will additional learn to add a ribbon sweat band and trim out their hats. Hand sewing skills recommended but not required.

Workshop will be Friday, January 26th from 6:00 - 8:00pm and Saturday, January 27th from 10:00 to 4:00pm. There will be a one hour lunch break on Saturday.
